Whole Wheat Pasta

Diet Studio organized a “One-Day Whole Wheat Pasta Workshop” on 4 th February 2022.
The Workshop’s key objective was to make everyone aware that there is no need to overhaul your feel guilty about eating your favorite pasta when whole wheat pasta is here. You can still achieve your flat tummy goals. Just switch your Pasta to a Nutrient-Enriched Whole Grain version!

Whole Wheat Pasta must be the best answer to everyone’s eating-healthy dilemma. Because over the years pasta has gotten a bad reputation for being unhealthy. This kind of pasta will leads to a healthy digestive system, lowering risks of obesity, stroke, heart diseases.

This, nutrition-based workshop let people learn Farfalle Pesto, Pasta Marinara, Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti Bolognese and Hand-Made Ravioli, conducted by Internationally-renowned Chef, Usama Asghar motivating participants to utilize wheat flour instead of white because it contains complex carbohydrates, protein, fiber, iron, magnesium, and zinc. White pasta, on the other hand, is made of refined carbohydrates, which means it has been stripped of many nutrients during manufacturing.

Throughout the time of workshop, Dietitian Ayesha Iftikhar coached the participants related to the health benefits of the whole wheat flour. As we know that whole wheat flour is made out of the bran, germ, endosperm part while the white one is just comprises of starchy part. Because the bran is stripped away, a lot of nutrient are lost. Every participant had an incredible hands-on experience with Chef Usama, learning super-satisfying 5 amazing recipes, along with exploring new cooking style to swap unhealthy food by nutritious meals. Everyone were greeted by aroma of several kind of pasta which they also tasted.
