Intermediate in Nutrition Sciences & Hygiene

The Diploma in Nutrition Sciences & Hygiene has been designed to develop competent applicants with a strong foundation & understanding of basic nutrition, meal management, and the role of food in body health and disease. It also emphasizes the scientific fundamentals of nutrition and metabolism throughout the lifecycle.  This course introduces students to the basics of food safety & hygiene in reducing the risk of food poisoning and will decrease food wastage, positively impacting profits. A combination of theory and practice will keep learners' competence up-to-date and lifelong learning in order to acquire opportunities at the Supervisory and Managerial levels.
